Summary Judgement
A summary judgment is a legal procedure that allows a judge to make a decision on a claim without the need for a full trial.
If your personal injury claim has progressed to court (most don't get this far) and your solicitor believes the defendant's case has no real prospect of success, or that there is no dispute about the key facts of the case, your solicitor can make an application for a summary judgment.
