Success Fees
Personal injury solicitors in England and Wales now work almost universally on a conditional fee (no win no fee) basis.
This means that a solicitor will not charge any legal fees if the claim is unsuccessful. If the claim is successful then the solicitor can charge a success fee of up to 25% of the claimant's settlement (excluding damages for future care and loss).
25% is a cap imposed by the Ministry of Justice (MOJ).
