Legal Ombudsman (LeO)
The Legal Ombudsman (LeO) is an independent complaints service that handles client complaints about legal services providers in England and Wales. The Ombudsman's role is to provide an independent, fair, and informal dispute resolution service between clients solicitors.
If you are unhappy with the service you have received from your solicitor, you can make a complaint to the Legal Ombudsman. The Ombudsman has the power to investigate complaints, and if they find that your solicitor has failed to provide a proper service, they can take action to resolve the issue and make recommendations to the solicitor.
