The Judicial College is the organisation that trains judges and other judicial office holders in England and Wales.
The Judicial College was known as the Judicial Studies Board (JSB) until 1 April 2011.
The Judicial College publishes a set of tables that are used as an official reference when calculating the amount of general damages compensation payable to claimants.
The tables are called the Guidelines for the Assessment of General Damages in Personal Injury Cases, Fifteenth Edition by the Judicial College.
If you are researching how much compensation you could claim for an injury, our Compensation Calculator also refers to the Judicial College tables.
