Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme (CICS)

The Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme (CICS) is a scheme run by the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) to compensate victims of violent crime in the UK.

The scheme sets a tariff of injuries which determines how much compensation a victim will be awarded by the CICA.
