Online case tracking
An increasing number of conveyancing solicitor firms now offer 'online case tracking' to their client’s as a means of augmenting communication.
Case tracking is offered by many online conveyancing firms and allows buyers and sellers to keep a track of how their transaction is going.
In its simplest form, case tracking is a set of milestones (e.g. mortgage offer received, additional enquiries submitted etc.) that can be viewed by the client as their transaction progresses.
More advanced online case tracking systems can be part of a paperless digital file that allows clients to upload documents, complete forms and sign documents online and communicate with their solicitor via a central messaging system.
Online case tracking is intended to aid communication.
