Leasehold Information Form (TA7)
The leasehold information form (TA7) is a form completed by the seller of a leasehold property at the start of the conveyancing process.
The form is an official form drafted by the Law Society and it forms part of a universally accepted conveyancing protocol.
As soon as the seller of a leasehold property instructs a conveyancing solicitor, the solicitor will send a package of forms to the seller including the property information form, fixtures and fittings form and the leasehold information form.
Once completed, these forms will be forwarded to the buyers solicitor.
The form asks questions about the property, how the properties managed and by whom, details of any service charges or ground rent and any notices consents or complaints.
