Disbursement
A disbursement is a third-party cost incurred by a conveyancing solicitor on behalf of their client during the conveyancing process.
The cost of the disbursements will be passed on to the clients and should not be marked up by the solicitor.
Examples of disbursements include:
- Property Searches
- Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT)
- HM Land Registry fees
- Landlord Registration fees
